Overview To build up AI capabilities within Marine, such that Marine has its own team to perform and lead AI related projects, collaborate with other group functions pertaining to AI related developments. To collaborate with other verticals pertaining to Marine's Transformation, such as Digitalization, Yard Transformation, Continuous Improvement and Technology & Innovation. Responsibilities Team Management: To lead, manage and oversee a team of AI Engineers. Guiding them on technical knowledge, project management and execution, problem solving and establishing communications between internal and external stakeholders Project Management: Work and engage relevant stakeholders in managing and seeing through projects from start till end AI Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain AI systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. Data Management: Collect, pre-process, and analyze large datasets to train and validate AI models. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholder, to integrate AI solutions into existing systems. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and implement best practices to enhance our AI capabilities. Knowledge and Skills Team Management Skills Programming Languages System Architecture Setup Proficient in Visualization Tool (E.g. Microsoft Power BI) will be advantageous Data Management Natural Language Processing Computer Vision Good communication skills, both written and oral Team player with the ability to work independently Internet of Things (IoT) will be advantageous Experience Team Management as a Manager Role System Integration & Deployment and Architecture Setup System Monitoring and Maintenance Software system version control Project Management Skills Min. 8 years of working experience in relevant industry Experience in Operations will be advantageous Education, Qualifications and Special Training Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java. Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. Proficiency in Visualization Software (E.g. Microsoft Power BI) will be advantageous Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
