Project Coordinator, Social Enterprise

Job Purpose We are looking for a dedicated and hands‐on team player to support and grow the operations of our Red Cross Shop, which are part of our Social Enterprise initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring smooth daily operations at our retail outlets, supporting donation logistics, and coordinating our team of passionate volunteers. You will work closely with internal teams and community partners to strengthen our operational processes and extend the reach of our humanitarian impact. This role offers valuable exposure to retail operations in the non‐profit sector, with potential for conversion to a permanent role based on performance. Key Responsibilities Retail Operations Oversee daily operations at the Red Cross Shops, including stock handling, display setup, and customer experience. Ensure smooth execution of thematic retail activities such as community bazaars and festive sales. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure operational compliance with internal SOPs and financial guidelines. Keep SOPs updated to reflect current practices and ensure consistency across teams. Donor-in-Kind & Logistics Management Manage the process of receiving, sorting, and distributing in-kind donations. Coordinate with partners, donors, and internal teams for donation collection and delivery. Ensure proper documentation and accountability for all incoming and outgoing goods. Volunteer Leadership & Engagement Supervise and guide a team of volunteers involved in shop operations and donation handling. Schedule volunteer shifts and provide training to ensure smooth day‐to‐day functioning. Work closely with internal departments for deployment support and event coordination. Job Requirements Qualifications & Experience GCE 'O' Level or equivalent; higher qualifications or relevant certifications will be a plus. Experience in retail, logistics, or the social service sector will be an advantage. Skills & Attributes Good communication and interpersonal skills. Responsible, organised, and able to work independently or in a team. Able to adapt to a dynamic work environment and respond effectively under pressure. Proficient in basic administrative and logistics processes. Work Requirements Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and various retail shifts as required. Ability to commit beyond standard working hours, including evenings and extended periods during events, donation drives, or peak seasons.
