We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic agile team working on impactful digital services. As a key member of the team, you will design and develop scalable backend services, lead architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for building RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot, Kotlin, and C# (.NET Core) technologies.
  • You will work closely with the team to design and deploy cloud-native architectures using AWS services like Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS/DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.
  • You will have opportunities to work on database design with SQL & NoSQL databases and implement CI/CD pipelines, system performance optimization, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • You will be able to take advantage of flexible arrangements and AWS certification support to enhance your skills and career growth.

Requirements:

  • You must have primary backend expertise in Java Spring Boot, Kotlin, or C#.
  • You should have experience designing and deploying microservices and APIs at scale.
  • You should be familiar with hands-on work with AWS services beyond EC2/S3 (e.g., Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS/DynamoDB).
  • You should be able to mentor, perform code reviews, or lead system design discussions.
  • You should have exposure to Singapore Government IT projects (e.g., SGTS, SingPass/CorpPass integrations).
