Backend Software Engineer (Java Spring Boot) ">

We're seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team and work on complex banking technology projects.

This role demands strong hands-on development skills, deep knowledge of microservices architecture, and experience in cloud and CI/CD environments.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

">
  • ">
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems using Java 11/17 and Spring Boot. ">
  • Building scalable microservices with REST APIs and messaging frameworks (Kafka, MQ, RabbitMQ). ">
  • Implementing event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, and real-time data integration. ">
  • Working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitLab) and managing deployments on OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker. ">
  • Integrating backend services with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), storage solutions, and databases (MariaDB/MySQL). ">
  • Applying best practices in unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, TestNG), TDD, and clean coding. ">
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing peer reviews, and participating in Agile ceremonies. ">
  • Troubleshooting production issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring security/compliance. ">

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. ">
  • At least 8 years of backend development experience, with Java Spring Boot microservices. ">
  • Strong expertise in Kafka/MQ messaging systems, event-driven systems, and API design. ">
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Git, GitLab) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). ">
  • Proficiency with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL). ">
  • Strong exposure to banking/financial systems preferred. ">
  • Knowledge of Liquibase, QuickFixJ, or FIX protocol is a strong advantage. ">
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. ">
