Responsibilities- Responsible for full set of accounts of a few operational entities, including management accounts, tax matters, GST and cash management, planning, budgeting and forecasting, and liaising with various business stakeholders including outsourced shared service providers
- Analyse financial results and identify improvement opportunities in internal controls, processes, policies and procedures
- Assist to review transactional and ancillary documents, provide commercial inputs and liaise with consultants for various projects including acquisitions, divestments and/or restructuring.
- Deal with internal and other stakeholders including tax agents, corporate secretaries, auditors and/or trustee of the REIT’s entities
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and regulatory requirements
- Other ad-hoc projects, duties and responsibilities as required by management
- Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
- At least 4 years of relevant experience
- Good communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for details
- Analytical, resourceful, good problem-solving capability and proactive team player
- Strong financial literacy skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced work environment
- Prior audit background and experience in REIT industry preferred
- Experience with SAP/BPC and Yardi preferred
