R&D Scientific Metal Engineer (Alloying-melting, casting & metal treatment)
Avensys Consulting is a reputed global IT professional services company. This description outlines the responsibilities and qualifications for the role of R&D Scientific Metal Engineer focused on alloying, melting, casting and metal treatment.
Responsibilities
Master’s degree in Metal Engineering or related field.
Minimum 7 years of industrial R&D experience in metal/alloy development, refining, melting, casting, and related processes.
Extensive experience in metallurgy: alloying (melting, casting), metal treatment and mechanical properties testing; including quality-related testing.
Strong technical writing skills for drafting protocols, reports, and formal communication.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven with the ability to work independently.
Analytical thinker with innovative problem-solving capabilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a holistic perspective.
Expertise in R&D, alloying & scaling up research into industrial-scale applications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
