Job Summary

A skilled BIM Modeller is required to create accurate and coordinated 3D models for electrical and MEP systems. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless integration with other disciplines, adhering to project and regulatory requirements.

This position requires expertise in developing, updating, and maintaining precise BIM models using Revit and AECOsim software. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating coordinated 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and details that meet project and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain precise BIM models using Revit and AECOsim software.
  • Create coordinated 2D/3D drawings, layouts, and details that meet project and regulatory standards.
  • Perform clash detection and resolution with civil, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines.
  • Ensure models and drawings align with company standards, client requirements, and authority regulations.
  • Assist project engineers and the BIM Manager in preparing submission drawings, as-built documentation, and technical reports.
  • Manage model updates throughout the project lifecycle and support design coordination meetings.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and site teams to capture design intent accurately in the BIM model.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM modelling for construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, AECOsim, and AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
  • Familiarity with Singapore's authority codes and submission standards (BCA, SCDF, LTA, PUB) is essential.
  • Experience with MRT, large-scale building, or industrial projects is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret and coordinate across multi-disciplinary drawings.
  • Knowledge of BIM coordination workflows and CDE platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
