Join to apply for the Murex Functional SME role at Mizuho . Responsibilities Analyze and gather business requirements by working with cross functional stakeholders (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, and Operations). Convert business requirements into Functional Specification Document (FSD). Manage onsite and offshore resources, vendors and System Integrator (SI) resources to ensure quality delivery. Work with technology team and convert FSD into Technical Specification Document (TSD). Customize and configure Murex e-Tradepad, pre-trade workflows, simulation views, formulas, etc. Liaise with stakeholders from multiple countries across Asia-Pacific. Ensure smooth integration of Murex with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters). Coordinate and execute system testing, UAT, and production releases. Serve as the go-to person for Murex-related matters. Guide and groom junior analysts working on Murex. Stay updated on Murex product upgrades, features, and market best practices. Requirements 15+ years of experience in Capital Markets / Investment Banking with strong exposure to Murex (MX.3). Deep expertise in Murex modules: FO (Pricing, Booking, Simulation), MO/BO (Confirmation, Settlement), Risk, and Reporting. Hands‐on skills in configuring e‐Tradepad, pre‐trade, simulation views, etc. Good understanding of financial products: FX, IRD, Fixed Income, Money Markets, etc. Exposure to trade lifecycle and risk management concepts (VaR, Greeks, PnL attribution). Experience working with cross‐functional teams in Agile or DevOps environments. Excellent analytical, problem‐solving, and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders effectively. Develop training materials and educate end‐users on Murex functionality and new features. Experience in Murex MX.3 implementation.
