Oracle Database Administrator L3

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and administering Oracle databases, performing advanced database performance tuning, query optimization, and index management.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle internals, performance diagnostics, and troubleshooting tools. They will also have experience with cloud platforms and ITIL processes.

In this role, you will be working closely with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support application and system integration. You will also be responsible for providing L3 support for escalated incidents and leading root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6 years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience with at least 3 years in a senior/L3 role.
  • Expertise in Oracle, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle internals, performance diagnostics (AWR, ASH, TKPROF), and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS RDS for Oracle, or Azure Database for Oracle).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident/change/problem management.
  • Scripting experience (Shell, Python, or similar) for automation and monitoring.
