What Will You Do?
We are looking for an associate who is unafraid to deliver outside-the-box thinking and can deliver high-quality design and/or technical work, engaging and leading others with their creative and innovative thinking.
Your responsibilities:
Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the design process and project brief, coordinating the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development.
Quality control and supervision of project deliverables.
Coordinate and integrate the work of external contractors, suppliers and professionals.
A role model who contributes towards a collaborative environment in which innovation is encouraged and best practices shared.
Builds a network across the business and seeks leadership opportunities by directing and supporting junior team members.
Develops effective relationships with clients and consultants.
Support senior colleagues with client presentations, positively contributing towards project meetings and client engagements.
Takes responsibility for aspects of the project budget and liaises with stakeholders to ensure delivery.
Seeks to develop a working understanding of cost control, fee charging and project finance, and considers how project fees are maximised without threat to client relationships and repeat work.
Requirements:
Bachelor/ Master’s degree qualified in related design fields or hold equivalent certification; professional registration is preferred.
At least 10 years experience in a similar role with responsibilities that apply in-depth knowledge of architectural principles and design.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Enthusiasm for architecture and design, commitment, reliability and team spirit
Proficient in computer applications commonly used within your discipline – Revit is essential.
A talented designer with a portfolio that showcases excellent creativity and innovative thinking.
Experience in successfully delivering large-scale projects through all work stages within APAC regions.
Strong organisational and supervisory skills, you have a proven ability to manage projects and people to deliver outstanding results.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work proactively as part of a committed team.
Ability to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationships.
Ability to relate and work well with people at all levels within the team and the broader office and externally with clients.
A strong passion for architecture, interior architecture and interior design.
Proactive but tactful in ensuring others within the team meet deadlines (etc.)
Able to travel as required.
