The Senior Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for supporting quality control and laboratory operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, safety, and efficiency of lab processes, while also mentoring junior team members. Working Location: Jurong Island Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Office hours), 8AM to 4.30PM Transport Pick-up: Near Jurong East MRT Job Responsibilities Perform raw material, in-process, and finished product quality control analyses. Carry out advanced maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment. Manage inventory of chemicals and consumables, including preparation and standardization of reagents. Oversee chemical waste management and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. Maintain quality records and contribute to the development of quality procedures. Train and guide junior laboratory or chemical technicians. Conduct risk assessments and participate in quality and safety audits. Handle procurement of laboratory materials and monitor budget usage. Drive and implement QA and safety initiatives. Job Requirements Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Chemistry, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Manual Wet Chemistry or Manual Lab Testing. Proven experience in equipment calibration and reagent preparation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
