Director Talent Acquisition at Alibaba Group Responsibilities: The responsibility is to design and implement talent solutions to meet Alibaba Cloud's explosive business growth. This includes designing and executing a comprehensive international talent acquisition strategy, leading a team to collaborate closely with hiring managers and partners, sourcing, qualifying and hiring across countries and business units primarily for Business Development, Pre‑Sales, and AI technology related roles, assisting in driving our solutions/products to expand our business globally, and developing and expanding Alibaba Cloud's cutting‑edge technologies. The role involves articulating the risk and benefits of a hire, mitigating hiring risk by identifying pros and cons for each hiring, particularly for senior‑level positions, advising principals and methods for making the right hiring decision, and enabling hiring managers and other interviewers to improve their skill set through training, sharing and case studies. It also requires creating robust pipelines, leveraging existing talent programs and initiatives to attract potential candidates, enhancing Alibaba's employer brand through all channels, social networking and talent events, and acting as an ambassador for Alibaba Cloud by providing a great candidate experience that lends genuine insight into our culture and work style. Finally, the role effectively manages all resources, systems and tools, leads the optimization of recruitment systems and implements AI‑driven solutions to drive recruiting efficiency and innovation. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree and over 10 years of recruitment experience, with a strong emphasis on global hiring across multiple regions; extensive experience in the high‑tech industry, particularly within the cloud business sector; proven track record of building robust talent pools and conducting in‑depth talent mapping, with a solid understanding of industry trends and job requirements; excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with global candidates and conduct effective negotiations; demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast‑paced environment, driving the recruitment process and ensuring timely filling of critical roles; outstanding command of English and Mandarin is required for effective written and verbal communication, as this position entails collaboration with stakeholders at our headquarters in China. #J-18808-Ljbffr
