Job Description
  • Collaborate with global business units to define and deliver data analytics needs on the Global Data Analytics Platform (Azure, Databricks) .
  • Integrate and manage new global data sources, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, reliable data.
  • Implement automated data quality checks and meta-data driven frameworks to govern data engineering processes .
  • Design, build, and maintain data warehouse models, data pipelines, and transformation workflows.
  • Develop and support advanced analytics tools, including data science sandboxes, ML models, generative AI, data marts, catalogues, and lineage .
  • Continuously enhance the analytics platform to stay relevant and future-ready.
  • Work with analytics teams across all CRISP-DM phases and align with data policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Organize workshops and seminars to strengthen data culture and analytics capabilities across the organization.
The Successful Applicant
  • Degree from a recognised university, preferably in Data Analytics or Computer Science domain;
  • Must have at least two years hands-on experience as a Data Engineer including at least one year using Microsoft and \ or Databricks data tools ;
  • Must have knowledge of data warehouse concept (Star, snowflake or data vault) methodology and experience in designing data warehouse dimensional modelling;
  • Must have hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics / Datawarehouse, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Databricks, Azure Fabric and Python ;
  • Preferably with relevant certifications from Microsoft including Azure Data Engineer Associate and / or Databricks including Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate;
  • Preferably with hands-on experience in using Azure OpenAI and \ or Azure AI Services;
Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform or .Net or C# or NoSQL or open-source data analytics software will be advantageous
