As a key change agent, you will drive continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.As an individual contributor reporting to the India EHS Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring sustainability and driving continuous improvement at Quaker Houghton Kolkata head office & lab, engaging with field technicians at customer sites to elevate EHS standards, collaborating with various stakeholders to promote a positive EHS culture, investigating incidents and hazards, managing the EHS management system, conducting audits, and supporting corporate EHS programs and sustainability initiatives. Additionally, you will be required to stay updated on EHS legislation and guidelines, attend training sessions, and fulfill any other tasks as assigned by management.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental disciplines in a heavy industry environment, familiarity with hazardous material risk management, and at least 2 years of experience in an EHS role with multi-site coverage. A Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS/PDIS/DIS) is mandatory, along with proficiency in English and a value for Hindi language skills.Key skills required include good IT skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management, customer focus, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, teamwork, a hands-on approach, and leadership qualities.In return, Quaker Houghton offers global giving initiatives, career growth opportunities, training programs, wellbeing, mentorship, and other colleague benefit programs.
