As a senior data strategist, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall data architecture design and implementation for our core banking modernization initiatives.

You will provide consultancy and advisory services to ensure seamless system integration, proof of concept, and impact analysis.

To achieve this goal, you will conduct thorough performance analyses of existing systems and identify potential bottlenecks that hinder optimal performance.

Through effective communication and documentation, you will convey solution designs to diverse teams and provide hands-on training as necessary.

Furthermore, you will define and implement data lake integration strategies to centralize and streamline data access.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will align data models with business needs to ensure data governance, lineage, and quality across all systems.

Additionally, you will design scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines and ETL frameworks.

Ultimately, your role will be to evaluate and recommend modern data technologies, tools, and platforms.

Required skills include proven experience or certifications in messaging, container orchestration, multi-tier application architecture, monitoring tools, and collaboration tools.

  • Experience in quoting solutions, differentiating CAPEX and OPEX concepts, and evaluating options to find cost-effective solutions.
  • Deep technical understanding to source infrastructure resources from on-premises to cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in concurrent software systems and building scalable, maintainable, and robust applications.
  • Proven experience in various SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and real-time data streaming.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data engineering tasks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization.

Desired skills include excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
