A renowned global luxury hospitality brand is seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Information Technology to lead their technology initiatives and digital transformation. This senior executive role will play a pivotal part in driving innovation, optimizing operations, and enhancing guest experiences across a prestigious international portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategic Direction:

Formulate and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the long-term business vision.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that technology capabilities are in line with overarching business goals and growth objectives.
Lead digital transformation efforts, integrating advanced technologies like AI, IoT, and cloud solutions across all properties.

Team Leadership and Development:

Guide and motivate a global IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Provide mentorship and professional growth opportunities, ensuring succession planning and continuity within the IT team.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

Build strong, strategic relationships with external vendors and technology providers to ensure top-tier service and cost-effective solutions.
Lead negotiations with key technology vendors for major contracts and partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Governance, Risk, and Security Management:

Develop and implement a robust IT governance framework that ensures compliance with global industry standards and regulations.
Oversee cybersecurity protocols, risk management strategies, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard business continuity and security.
Ensure all operations are supported by comprehensive business continuity and recovery strategies across the entire organization.

Collaboration Across Departments:

Partner with key departments, including operations, marketing, and finance, to integrate technology that enhances business performance and guest satisfaction.
Optimize IT systems and infrastructure to improve operational processes and support initiatives such as marketing campaigns and guest experience enhancements.

Financial and Resource Management:

Oversee and manage the IT budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources and the maximization of operational cost-efficiency.
Work closely with finance and procurement teams to make informed decisions on technology investments and vendor contracts.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s in IT Management is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years in IT, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in the luxury hospitality or high-service industry.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading large-scale IT transformations, managing significant budgets, and overseeing global IT operations.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with hospitality-specific technology platforms such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and guest experience technologies.
Strong expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and strategic decision-making.
Advanced certifications in IT governance, risk management, or executive leadership (e.g., CGEIT) are a plus.
