AI Prototyping Engineer

We are looking for a smart, entrepreneurial, and execution-oriented AI builder who thrives on prototyping. You'll rapidly design and test multi-agent solutions that combine LLMs, quantitative models, and trading strategies. Your work will lay the foundation for production-grade trading engines while keeping the focus on fast iteration, experimentation, and practical insights. This role is ideal for someone who loves to translate ideas into working prototypes, experiment with agent frameworks, and push boundaries in AI-driven finance, while working with a team of veteran software engineers to make it enterprise grade and production ready. What You'll Do Prototype multi-agent architectures for simultaneous market timing and stock selection according to whitepaper. Combine quantitative models (time-series, factor analysis, backtesting) with LLM/agentic frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI, AutoGPT-style systems). Build proof-of-concept pipelines for market data ingestion, signal generation, and trade decisioning. Run backtests and forward-tests to validate prototypes against benchmarks. Document experiments, results, and learnings to inform production rollout. Collaborate with leadership and developers to transition validated prototypes into robust systems. Quality Assurance & Compliance Implement quality assurance practices, performance benchmarking, and security reviews, including unit, integration, and regression testing. Validate system outputs against manually benchmarked results to ensure financial-grade accuracy. Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards (GDPR, SOC2, ISO/IEC 27001). Proactively identify risks (technical, operational, compliance-related) and develop mitigation strategies. What We're Looking For Strong Python programming skills, with experience in ML/AI libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow). Curiosity and creativity in multi-agent frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK, AutoGen, or similar). Ability to blend LLM reasoning with quantitative trading models. Comfort with fast prototyping and iterating quickly under uncertainty. Passion for financial markets, trading, or hedge fund strategies. Bonus: • Prior exposure to algorithmic trading, portfolio optimization, or risk models . • Familiarity with APIs such as IBKR, Bloomberg, or crypto exchanges. • Experience with reinforcement learning, forecasting models, or backtesting engines. • Personal GitHub projects, Kaggle competitions, or startup/side-project experience.
