Network Infrastructure Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, etc.)
  • Configure and install network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
  • Troubleshoot network issues and outages, and provide timely resolutions
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to manage and support infrastructure projects
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures
  • Ensure network security through access controls, firewalls, and VPN configurations
  • Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations for improvements
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP)
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Fortinet, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) preferred
