Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead the design review, site installation supervision, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems for large-scale cleanroom facility construction projects in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the installation of HVAC systems, including chilled water piping, air handling units and ductwork for cleanroom facilities.
  • Conduct technical design reviews and coordinate with consultants and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise on-site installation, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
  • Lead the testing and commissioning of HVAC systems and troubleshoot technical issues during installation and operation.
  • Train and guide junior engineers and site supervisors in HVAC system operations and maintenance.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC system design, installation and commissioning for industrial or cleanroom projects.
  • Familiar with international HVAC standards (ASHRAE) and Singapore local codes.
  • Proven experience in managing site works and leading technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other HVAC design software is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with China-based and Singapore-based stakeholders.
