Job Function Hospital Supply Chain Job Summary The Logistics Specialist - Hospital Supply Chain is responsible for performing onsite medical supplies replenishment related activities. He/She performs operations in adherence to procedures, and the safe and efficient operations of goods and equipment. He/she performs ordering, receiving, topping up, transaction documentation process, and performs the secure handling of goods. He/she also supports implementation of improvement opportunities within hospital operations. He may be required to work in rotating shifts. Business Administration Operations Participate in value-based culture and a culture of accountability in the organisation Adhere to organisation's governance, compliance issues and reporting processes Adhere to organisation's data governance and protection processes Work with allocated resources Apply operational policies, standards and procedures Perform basic risk assessment Support the department in incident or crisis management initiatives Business Process/Continuous Improvement Perform continuous improvement activities Perform activities to improve quality of logistics services Safety and Health Perform WSH activities to ensure personal compliance to requirements Perform safety and health risk assessment Report WSH incidents Highlight WSH shortcomings in existing processes Technology Application Work with team members to support technology projects Assist application of latest technology to improve operations in own work areas Operate technology or electronic tools and devices Operations, Cargo and Material Handling Report operations issues in a timely manner Perform loading, unloading and arranging of cargo and items Perform security operations in adherence to plans Perform cargo or material-handling security procedures Perform moving of cargo and items Perform cross docking operations and shipment consolidation Identify operational shortfall, maintenance or repair needs Assist in application of methods and techniques to handle dangerous goods Perform operations in accordance with 5S (sort, set, shine, standardise, sustain) techniques Assist in application of methods and techniques to handle time and temperature-sensitive cargo Comply with height, weight and special handling requirements in stacking, moving, and arranging items on pallets according to storage plans Job Requirements Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience 1-2 years of relevant working experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
