The Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) is a dedicated team committed to delivering comprehensive support across the entire student life cycle—from admission and matriculation to graduation and beyond the classroom. SASD works collaboratively with schools, colleges, and autonomous institutes to ensure a seamless and enriching academic journey for all students.
This position sits with the Office of Admissions, which is one of the functions within SASD. The Office of Admissions plays a key role in supporting admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This position also contributes to broader initiatives aimed at enhancing students' experience, ensuring that every interaction—from inquiry to enrollment—is welcoming, efficient, and student-centered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drives the application and admissions processes for postgraduate students and participates in admission decisions for exceptional cases.
- Drives communication plans for prospective students – coordinate, manage and implements communication to provide accurate and timely information to prospective postgraduate students regarding university programmes, application procedures and enrolment policies.
- Drives communication plans to faculty members and managers to ensure clarity on all postgraduate admission requirements, processes and updated changes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to strengthen communication strategies, streamline admissions operations, and enhance overall clarity and consistency.
- Analyse and evaluate enrolment data, market trends, and partnership outcomes to assess their impact on university admissions. Recommend strategic measures to meet enrolment targets and institutional objectives.
- Leads a team to ensure adherence to the procedures and guidelines and at the same time provide sound advice and accurate information to prospective postgraduate students while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any related field from a recognized University.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience, with at least 3 to 5 years of supervisory and related work experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills: proficiency in data tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changes.
- Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
