Job Opportunity: Technical Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization and play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness and resilience of our network infrastructure.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to engage with members' organizations, provide technical support for Science DMZ and Data Lake development, manage authorization and access infrastructure setup and support, and implement and maintain servers and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with members' organizations to assist with network connectivity
  • Provide technical support for Science DMZ and Data Lake development
  • Manage the authorization and access infrastructure setup and support
  • Implement and maintain servers and networks

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or Science, or a relevant field. Polytechnic Diploma holders in Computer Engineering with related skillsets would also be considered.
  • Familiar with Linux, with knowledge of container-based systems (e.g Docker)
  • Familiar with basic Networking Concepts
  • Possess Programming knowledge (e.g Python)
  • Knowledge and experience on Application development would be beneficial
  • A team player with strong communication skills.
  • Possess a pro-active mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic work environment
