Job Description

You will be part of a team that provides inspection and assessment services for petrochemical and chemical plants pipelines. The role involves leading inspectors to conduct non-destructive testing and inspection work on storage tanks, pressure vessels, and pipelines.

The team is responsible for developing testing methodologies and procedures for various techniques such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and radiographic film interpretation.

You will provide NDT Level 3 services and train in-house inspectors in the respective methods.

The job requires overseeing inspection of various equipment such as pressure vessels, above ground storage tanks, and structural components.

You will represent the division as the Quality Management Representative and be involved in quality management meetings and audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of inspectors to conduct non-destructive testing and inspection work
  • Develop testing methodologies and procedures for various techniques
  • Provide NDT Level 3 services and train in-house inspectors
  • Oversee inspection of various equipment such as pressure vessels and storage tanks
  • Represent the division as the Quality Management Representative

Requirements

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years of inspection experience in oil/petrochemical industries
  • Able to perform QA of all piping/equipment repair work
  • Ability to interpret NDT results
  • Good knowledge of pressure equipment and piping manufacturing Code
  • Good knowledge of materials and pipes/equipment used in the refinery and their damage mechanism
