(What you will be working on)The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Evaluating applications and licensing telecommunications services, including advising applicants on licences to apply for and licensing requirements; Reviewing and implementing licensing and regulatory frameworks, policies and schemes to ensure that these continue to remain relevant and effective, amidst market and technological developments; Reviewing and streamlining licensing processes to improve customer experience, pro-enterprise orientation for businesses and efficiency; Formulating/Reviewing SOPs to ensure that processes are consistent across licensing schemes, and addressing any gaps/issues in processes and licensing systems Responding to public/licensee queries relating to telecommunications licensing (What we are looking for)Requirements: Background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent with at least 3 or more years of relevant work experience with a supervisory role preferred. Good knowledge of emerging technologies and their business/economic impact. Prior working experience in the telecommunications industry will be an added advantage. Good interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively and engage with a diverse group of stakeholders Good writing, communications, and presentation skills Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Position commensurate with experience.
