The successful candidate will be part of the Central Treasury team in MOHH Finance Division supporting the CFO, EXCO, and Investment Committee “IC” for cash management and treasury investment of the Group’s funds.
Job Responsibilities
Placement of short-term deposits and treasury investments in compliance with treasury policy and guidelines for the charitable Companies limited by Guarantee (“CLGs”) entities in MOHH Group.
Input transactions into Treasury Management System and bank portals.
Prepare and file relevant documents, including obtaining the necessary endorsements from management.
Liaise with bank counterparties and CLGs.
On-the-job training with a view on succession planning, to take on more responsibilities and senior position in the team.
Bank Documentation
Lead for bank documents administration for the onboarding of the CLGs.
Liaise with MOHH Legal team, CLGs and bank on documentation requirements.
Ensure that proper records are maintained on the CLGs treasury transactions.
Share with the 1FSS on the billings to be raised to CLGs for the services rendered on an annual basis.
Audit
Assist in all the queries raised for Audit relating to the CLGs.
Team Coverage
Back up other members of the Central Treasury team for (i) Daily Singapore Dollar cash pooling operations, (ii) In-House Cash Centre (“IHC”) operations, and (iii) placement of short-term deposits and treasury investments in compliance with treasury policy and guidelines.
Perform reconciliation of SAP Treasury In-House Cash (end of day processing run) and external bank statements.
Back up for administration and User Access Control for Internet Banking Portal.
Administer Internet Banking Portal user access under IHC virtual accounts, including liaising with subsidiaries on preparing hardcopy banking forms for creation of new users, deletion of users and amendment of user rights, updates to virtual accounts mandate and reviewing system logs and user listings.
Assist in execution of new projects or initiatives to improve treasury and investments
Testing new IT systems and bank solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define UAT scope, create test cases, and execute testing cycles to validate system functionality.
Liaise with product, development, and business teams to ensure alignment between UAT results and business objectives.
Job Requirements
Education
Tertiary Accountancy or Finance qualifications.
Other requirements
Good grasp of financial markets, cash management, financial and operational risk management and treasury accounting.
Demonstrated ability to work in a small collaborative team environment.
Meticulous, accurate and timely.
Strong work ethics and workplace etiquette.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) and/or Chartered Accountant qualifications, proficiency in Treasury Management Systems and SAP ERP Systems would be advantageous.
Years of Experience
At least 1 to 2 years of full-time work experience in finance or treasury operations. Fresh graduates who have passed CFA exam Level 1 and have relevant internship experience may be considered.
