Job Title: Roving Equipment Technician with Class 3 Driving License

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Roving Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.
  • Your primary duties will include performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on various types of equipment, including troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • You will also be required to maintain lighting systems and other support equipment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
  • Additionally, you will assist in the setup or relocation of equipment, collaborating with the team to ensure a seamless transition.
  • As a vital part of our operations, you will supervise contractors in repair and ad-hoc project testing works, providing guidance and oversight where necessary.
  • Occasionally, you may be required to deliver parts to colleagues and stakeholders, communicating effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Other duties may be assigned by management, requiring adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow.

Requirements:

  • Possess a relevant technical qualification (NITEC in Electronics / Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience demonstrating relevant expertise.
  • A minimum of 1-5 years' experience in troubleshooting equipment/machine/CCTV is preferred, showcasing problem-solving skills.
  • Holding a valid Class 3 Driving License enables you to operate company vehicles, making it essential for this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in related fields is not necessary but having knowledge of MS Words/Excel enhances administrative capabilities.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are required, working collaboratively with colleagues and adapting to changing schedules.
