Job Opportunity: Service Engineer, 4-stroke
Wärtsilä, a global leader in marine technology, is seeking a dedicated Service Engineer for 4-stroke engines in Singapore. Join us in leading the maritime industry's transformation towards a sustainable future.
Responsibilities:
Perform field service activities as per work plans.
Conduct basic troubleshooting, testing, fine-tuning, and adjustments on Wärtsilä 4-stroke engines to meet customer requirements.
Handle major repairs, overhauls, and commissioning activities independently.
Lead and manage assigned teams during work execution.
Interact with customers during service delivery.
Report progress and create detailed Service Work Reports.
Ensure compliance with Wärtsilä quality, health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as customer site procedures.
Promote and advise on Wärtsilä products and solutions to customers.
Qualifications:
BSc Degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Marine Engineering with over 5 years of experience.
Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work independently and travel up to 80%.
Excellent communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office and information management tools.
