Financial Management Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Management Expert to lead our accounting team and ensure timely and accurate financial management reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial systems, accounting processes, and planning process.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take charge of Group consolidation and Financial Reporting, including Taxation & Compliances. You will also conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures with financial models and analysis.

As a key member of our team, you will report to the Management with timely and accurate financial information. You will review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities and perform ad-hoc analysis and simulations to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial management reporting.
  • Oversight of the company's financial systems, accounting processes, and planning process.
  • Group consolidation and Financial Reporting, including Taxation & Compliances.
  • Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures with financial models and analysis.
  • Report to the Management with timely and accurate financial information.
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and simulations to support business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Experience in reviewing and responding to changes.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced service environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role or audit experience.
  • Experience in calculation and analysis of profit margins, spending, capital investment, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Savvy in SAAS accounting software like Xero, Quickbooks online.
  • Proven ability to understand key financial and business variables in a complex and changing commercial environment.
  • Bilingual in English & Chinese.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays (8.30 am to 5.30 pm)
Work Location: Tuas
