Associate Director / Director, Research and Consulting, Singapore Globe Scan, a global insights and advisory firm specializing in trust, sustainability, and engagement, is looking for a senior level leader to join our Singapore office. Your role will be in supporting clients in our core services areas – societal trends analysis, reputation & trust-building, materiality assessments, sustainability strategy development, consumer engagement & sustainable living, and stakeholder engagement & advocacy – and helping to build the Globe Scan brand in Singapore. Key Responsibilities Identify business opportunities and contribute to strategic planning for APAC Lead in managing projects, including oversight on the work plan, deliverable schedule and budget Analyze insights, draft reports and present findings and implications to clients Help drive business development, drafting proposals and supporting the growth of key accounts Build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients in the region Stay informed about industry developments and relevant peer/competitor activities Key Requirements Minimum 8-10 years of experience in social science research or consulting Impeccable writing and oral skills in English Experience in advising clients in some of Globe Scan’s core service areas (see above) Self-starter mentality and highly collaborative mindset Strong cultural and business knowledge of the APAC market Understanding of the sustainability landscape in Asia Pacific is advantageous Have a strong sense of purpose, mission, and passion about driving a positive future Proficiency in Mandarin or other Asian language is a plus Salary and Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Company bonus scheme, dependent on the profits of the company – eligible after passing probationary period Five weeks annual leave entitlement plus four additional days over the Christmas holidays Healthcare plan (with company contribution) A commitment to work-life balance Flexible office and home working To Apply Send your CV and cover letter detailing why you’d like to work for Globe Scan and why you would be a good fit for the role to Closing date for applications: December 31, 2024 Start date : As soon as possible Applicants must be eligible to work in Singapore.
