Ceramic Tile Specialist

Description

We are seeking a skilled Ceramic Tile Specialist to join our team. As a Ceramic Tile Specialist, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles in various settings, including residential and commercial properties.

  • Assessing the job site to determine the best course of action for tile installation
  • Selecting the appropriate type and quantity of tile materials based on the project requirements
  • Cutting and shaping tiles to fit around obstacles and in tight spaces using power and hand tools
  • Aligning tiles and ensuring patterns are even and precise
  • Preparing surfaces for tiling by cleaning and applying waterproofing material or lath

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

To be successful as a Ceramic Tile Specialist, you will need to have:

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • The ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions (heat, cold, outdoors)
  • The physical stamina to lift heavy materials and equipment
  • Carpentry and renovation experience is a plus
