The successful candidate will perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under BCA, including:
Supervise timely execution of the works and maintain quality control to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, and site instructions
Check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with approved plans and report discrepancies to OIC
Inspect quality of works, materials, and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify non-compliance, and report to OIC on materials not conforming to specifications
Prepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works, and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified
Supervise works to comply with statutory requirements and specifications
Ensure structural elements or critical works are being carried out in accordance with approved plans
Attend site, progress, variation, QAQC, and coordination meetings, and keep proper minutes of these meetings
Help resolve main contractors' queries and coordinate works with other contractors
Inspect and assist with handing/taking over of completed works by other contracts
Ensure proper and updated records of all works are kept
Carry out coordination of all building and C&S Services
Work with the safety team to ensure safety on site maintains at a maximum level
Perform any other ad-hoc duties
Requirements:
Diploma in Civil/Structural discipline from a Polytechnic or Equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as RTO, with at least 2 years in supervision of deep excavation, drainage, pipe jacking, ground improvement, supervising and installation of monitoring instruments, and collating of monitoring data (focus on Pipe Jacking Experience)
Shift work, including night shift
Have a valid 2025 RTO Certification accredited by IES
