Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Materials Science Content Analyst to enhance our business outcomes and drive innovation. You will join a multidisciplinary team to shape our product development, taking advantage of emerging trends and technologies to make a real-world impact.
Responsibilities
Drive development and improvement of the materials intelligence cloud platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams and focusing on user needs and scalability.
Identify, integrate, and curate diverse materials science data sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility, and implement data quality control measures.
Maintain a strong understanding of relevant standards and ontologies in materials science and chemistry.
Apply and adapt AI, ML, and LLM techniques to analyze and interpret materials science data, extracting insights, predicting properties, and accelerating discovery.
Leverage patent data, cheminformatics, and materials informatics principles to identify trends, opportunities, and improve data analysis and interpretation.
Research and explore new data sources, algorithms, and emerging technologies in materials informatics.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Perform advanced data analytics and create visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
Requirements
Ph.D. or Master's in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields, with deep experience in computational or data-driven approaches to material science innovation.
Strong understanding of materials science principles, characterization techniques, and applications across industry domains.
Proficiency in AI/ML/LLM techniques, programming skills, and experience with data curation and preprocessing. Familiarity with cloud computing and cheminformatics tools is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive insights.
