Delivering Exceptional Education for Students with Autism

At our esteemed educational institution, we are dedicated to providing top-notch education to students with autism. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering clear and effective lessons using a variety of relevant teaching strategies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students with autism.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality education and care for students.
  • Plan and write Individualized Education Plan (IEP) reports, records, and documentation.
  • Guide and coach Teacher Aides to ensure seamless delivery of educational services.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Recognised Degree or Polytechnic Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Teaching qualifications or equivalent in Special Education is preferred.
  • 5 credits in GCE 'O' level with a pass in English and Mathematics is mandatory.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience at primary level.
  • Familiarity with national curriculum and passion for teaching.
  • Experience in teaching children and youths with autism will be an added advantage.
