As a Specialist / Sr. Analyst, Taxation at Colgate-Palmolive Company in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, you will be responsible for managing litigation, preparing replies to notices, and interacting with tax authorities. Your role will focus on risk management, tax advocacy, and staying updated on legislative changes relevant to the business.Your primary responsibilities will include managing relationships with tax authorities, informing stakeholders on emerging taxation issues, and preparing and filing replies/submissions to routine notices and appeals. You will also be involved in filing appeals before GST authorities, representing the company during hearings, and coordinating with external tax consultants and internal stakeholders for assessments and audits.To excel in this role, you should preferably be a CA with 2-3 years of work experience or a CA Intern with 5-6+ years of experience in consulting or multinational organizations specializing in indirect taxes. Expertise in GST litigation management and SAP experience is desired.
