The company has vacancies for a Senior Associate in Mumbai and Bangalore, as well as a Manager position in Mumbai.For the Senior Associate role, the ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in Direct tax. If the candidate is not a CA, they should have 5-7 years of relevant experience in Direct tax and be a postgraduate. The candidate should have experience in Indian Direct Taxation, PF, advisory Individual taxation, Expat taxation, HNI, Global Mobility.For the Manager position, the candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-10 years of post-qualification experience. If the candidate is not a CA, they should have 10-15 years of relevant experience in Direct tax and be a postgraduate. Experience in Indian Direct Taxation, PF, advisory, Individual taxation, Expat taxation, HNI, Global Mobility is required. Candidates currently working as a senior associate at Y3 level can be considered. Team Handling experience/ Managerial experience would be an additional advantage.It's important to note that 3 years articleship experience should not be considered as relevant work experience. Candidates holding Specialist/Analyst roles in other Big 4 firms would not be suitable for Senior associate roles. Also, candidates with experience only in Indirect tax would not be suitable. A mix of direct tax and Indirect tax, as well as a mix of Individual tax and Corporate tax, can be considered for the roles.Key points related to Direct tax that candidates should be familiar with include Direct tax provisions on different heads of income for personal tax filings, Residential status under the Income tax act, Assessment and appeals processes, Tax rates and budget-related amendments, ITR-2 and reporting of asset requirements, Overview of the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA), Provident Fund (PF) applicability, and ESOP taxability.Good communication skills are required for these roles, and the working schedule is 5 days a week with day shifts.,
