Job Description Summary
This is a traineeship program that offers an opportunity for ITE or Diploma fresh graduates to gain knowledge through structured training and OJT, enhancing their technical skills and career development in GE Aerospace.
The trainee will be responsible for setting up and operating machines such as CNC machines in Milling, Grinding, and Lathe; Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM); Surface Grinding; VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe); and various conventional and specialized equipment to perform machining operations.

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.
Role Overview:
Set up and operate all types of conventional or CNC machines such as electrical discharge machines, laser machines, lathes, radial grinders, reciprocal grinders, milling machines, drilling machines, and specialized equipment to perform complex machining operations for jigs, fixtures, tools, dies, gauges, test equipment, and product parts, including rework or modifications.
Follow a particular product through the machine shop using various machine tools to complete the finished product.
Use all types of standard and special gauges, and various hand tools.
Maintain pertinent records and work according to technical drawings and instructions.
Perform scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
The Ideal Candidate:
Within 3 years of graduation or the operationally ready date (ORD) for national servicemen.
Singaporean or Singapore PR only, to meet Singapore government requirements for a strong Singapore core and applicable grants.
Required Qualifications:
Full Time Nitec/Higher Nitec in Automation Engineering, Aircraft Engines Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from local ITE.
Full Time Diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Technology, or Aerospace Avionics from local Polytechnics.
Relevant Full Time Nitec/Higher Nitec, Technical Diploma, Polytechnic Diploma, or relevant engineering disciplines from local ITE or Polytechnics.
Ability to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and standard operating procedures in English.
Willing to work rotating shifts.
Willing to accept a 1-year bond after the program.
Within 3 years of graduation or the operationally ready date (ORD).
Singaporean or Singapore PR only.
Preferred Qualifications:
