Strategic Commodity Mgr 5 Date: Oct 19, 2024 Location: Singapore, SG-Singapore, SG Worker Category: On-site Flex Global Supply Chain Management The Impact You’ll Make At Lam, as a Strategic Commodity Manager, you play a crucial role in managing industry suppliers. You’ll develop and implement commodity strategies, align development deliverables, benchmark suppliers, negotiate agreements, and resolve delivery, cost, and production challenges. Navigating a highly visible and dynamic environment, your strategic expertise in implementing initiatives will support commodity availability, quality, and cost to maintain Lam's reliability and competitive edge. What You’ll Do Individual represents the Gas Delivery commodity at Lam Research by being part of various cross-functional teams. These gas delivery systems are used both on Etch and Deposition systems. Provides strategic plans for timely inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to drive speed, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. Ensures solid strategies to assure availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. Manage and process claims resulting from either cancellations or reschedule of purchase orders. Responsible for sourcing decisions as well as coordinating global procurement efforts. Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory, cost savings, and cash flow management. Leads commodity team for establishing strategic vision for the commodity space, then managing projects to active plans & objectives. This requires managing weekly collaborative meetings and ensuring all internal stakeholders are engaged and communication to higher management are in place & timely. Work with suppliers in making sure they have adequate capacity to support Lam demand as well as supply continuity risk management plans. Manages several global and domestic integrators in the Gas Delivery commodity supporting Etch & Deposition product lines. Who We’re Looking For Bachelor’s in Engineering or other related discipline Minimum Experience: 10 years industry experience. Familiarity with semiconductor equipment or high-technology supply management practices, standards and organizations. Proven ability to gain partnerships and excel working and leading in a cross-functional environment with new product introduction, manufacturing, quality and reliability engineers as well as procurement, finance, and product support Strong Power Point and Presentation Skills May require up to 15-25% travel Our Commitment We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
