Overview Research Fellow (Dept of Pathology) at National University of Singapore. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to spearhead projects and establish new experimental approaches. Responsibilities Principal investigator collaboration: work closely with the Principal Investigator to develop research ideas and themes. Supervision: supervise younger PhD students or research assistants in the laboratory. Project execution: establish and advance experimental approaches; contribute to manuscript preparation and publishing in peer-reviewed journals (advantageous). Grant activities: co-write grants with the PI and participate in career development grant opportunities. Qualifications PhD in life sciences/biomedical sciences with 1–2 years of research experience. Strong background in experimental research, particularly in molecular and cellular biology. Interest in molecular medicine, mechanisms of tumorigenesis, and/or cancer target validation approaches. Experience with ChIP sequencing and imaging techniques is favorable. Excellent communication and presentation skills; prior experience with manuscript writing and publishing is advantageous. About the Role/Projects Candidates passionate about life science research and developing new cancer therapeutics are welcome.
