User Experience Consultant

Direct message the job poster from Foolproof Global Talent Partner at Foolproof, a Zensar Company Contract: 6 months (with potential extension)Experience: 5 to 7+ years We are looking for a User Experience Consultant: who will be responsible for designing and conducting user research, from identifying the best approach to analysing results and making recommendations. While your role on projects will be focused on research, you will be working with designers and developers to create the best solution for the client and their customers. Intimate understanding of the user experience environment, where you have strong experience in using data and insight about people's actions and behaviours to inform the design of digital product experiences. Solid working experience in planning and facilitating one-to-one interviews, focus groups, diary studies, contextual research and other qualitative methods as well as designing and analysing quantitative studies. Experience in communicating and delivering presentations both internally and externally in a clear and confident manner. Proven ability to provide direction and strategy for clients, balancing the needs of the business and those of their customers. Awareness and understanding of how analytics can complement behavioural insights. Commercially aware, with an understanding of what it takes to make change happen in large organisations. The role: Within this role you will be responsible for planning and executing rigorous end-to-end customer research using the most appropriate methodology especially qualitative and quantitative methods , and partner with the analytics practice to distil data-informed recommendations and best practices. While on projects and programmes, you will work closely with cross-functional teams (Product Management, design, engineering) and other researchers in refining research approaches and making insights-based product recommendations. The outcomes of your work will involve delivering actionable insights that help make our client's product experiences measurably better. Throughout, you will be regularly communicating and illustrating recommendations in compelling and creative ways to a broad and diverse audience, and across organisational boundaries. You will also play a critical role in designing best-practice process and helping our clients operationalise customer research into their every-day workflow.
