About the role

We are seeking a hands-on compliance leader to join a growing alternative investment manager to oversee their advisory compliance function in Asia. This role will partner closely with the business to deliver practical regulatory advice and drive enhancements to the compliance framework as the firm expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the compliance advisory framework across the region.
  • Provide day-to-day regulatory guidance to investment, operations, and investor relations teams.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain compliance policies, controls, and processes.
  • Review and approve marketing materials and investor communications.
  • Manage regulatory filings, reporting, and licensing needs.
  • Deliver training and practical compliance solutions to internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years of compliance experience in a hedge fund, private equity or asset management environment.
  • Strong knowledge of regional and global regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to provide business-focused compliance advice.
  • Experience managing a team or readiness to step into a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
