Job Title: Precision Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Precision Engineer to join our team in a dynamic role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about precision engineering and quality assurance.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily QC operations, supporting the Quality Manager in supervising QC inspectors, and ensuring adherence to inspection SOPs.

You will also be involved in first article and new product inspections, reviewing quality documentation and customer submissions, participating in internal/external audits on systems and processes (AS 9100 QMS), and working with the team/supplier to resolve non-conformance issues.

In addition, you will be responsible for enforcing good safety culture and good manufacturing practices, ensuring all quality plans are properly documented and maintained, facilitating the implementation of quality systems, and reviewing inspection reports and certificates of compliance before releasing them to customers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in quality assurance or QC in a precision machining environment.

Prior experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 systems and management, as well as working with ERP/QMS systems for quality documentation, is highly desirable.

Competencies:

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge in quality metrology and measurement equipment, familiarity with AS9100 standards, QMS documentation, and first article requirements, capable of reading and interpreting complex mechanical drawings and specifications, knowledge of CMM measurement principles and quality reporting formats, and strong communication skills for internal coordination and customer-facing situations.
