The Billing Specialist will be responsible for Diligent’s contract review process in Salesforce, ensuring they are closed in an efficient and timely manner and all scheduled daily invoicing completed. Candidates should have a customer-centric focus and be able to partner with our Revenue Operations colleagues ensuring an efficient and accurate process. Reporting to the Billing Team Lead, this role will have a high impact on Diligent’s revenue recognition and Revenue Operations processes. This role will also actively participate in the integration of acquired companies.
Key Responsibilities
Reviewing opportunities in Salesforce and moving to Closed Won
Monthly close process is adhered to and SLA’s achieved.
Invoice customers through finance system in alignment with contractual terms
Ensure all cancellations are actioned in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain customer data on both our CRM & Financial systems used.
Uploading of tax certificates to correct software enabling accurate tax calculations on invoices.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
Required Experience/Skills
Must have strong attention to detail
Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility to accommodate different situations and temperaments
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and demanding global environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent organization and prioritization skills
Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
