Fire & Hydraulics Engineer

We are seeking a Fire & Hydraulics Engineer to deliver high-quality consulting services across a diverse range of projects. You'll play a key role in design, mentoring, and strategic project development, helping us raise the standard of fire protection & hydraulic engineering in the region. The Opportunity Deliver detailed hydraulic and fire protection designs across various building and infrastructure projects. Provide expert technical input and ensure high-quality design outcomes. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing and skill development within the team. Prepare client-facing reports, tenders, and presentations with clear, strategic insights. Collaborate across teams and regions to support Arup's integrated approach to engineering excellence. Is this role right for you?A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 5–6 years of consulting experience. Strong technical understanding of hydraulic and fire systems, codes, and safety regulations. Chartered or professionally qualified in a relevant discipline. A proactive approach to mentoring, team development, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Excellent communication, reporting, and project coordination skills under pressure.
