Job Summary
The Lead Development ICT (In-Circuit Test) Engineer requires advanced ICT techniques and technology to deploy electrical test solutions for customers. The role involves leading technical discussions with customers on behalf of the Sr Manager Test Design, developing test solutions, supporting test crises, and continuously improving core competencies. This position also mentors junior ICT engineers, overseeing their technical skills and development.
Responsibilities include:
Design for Test, hardware (fixture/tester) and software specification improvements, and defining test validation criteria.
Support proposed test solutions and project tracking (action items, journals, milestones, deliverables).
Conduct design reviews with customers and review test plans, specifications, and coverage.
Execute customer test crisis support, including escalated support requests and site requests.
Provide ICT-specific training as needed.
Support end-to-end structural test strategies by integrating electrical tests using platforms like TRI, flying probe, X-ray laminography, boundary scan, MDA, and test development software such as GenRad GR228x, Agilent 3070, FabMaster.
Continuously improve core competencies through problem-solving, research training, and leadership courses.
Assist the Sr Manager Test Design with solutions, quotations, and scheduling.
Conduct training for ICT engineers and assess their technical development, facilitating opportunities to rotate through various technical challenges.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements:
Ability to interpret business and technical documentation.
Background in in-circuit test development on platforms like Agilent, Genrad, Teradyne, TRI, or Checksum preferred.
Advanced PC skills and familiarity with Jabil’s software packages.
Effective communication skills for presenting information and managing projects.
