About the Role:

The Sales Performance Director will lead and inspire a dynamic team of sales professionals, driving business growth in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape customer journeys, develop competitive strategies, and contribute to continued success in the fast-paced automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Sales Strategy
    • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales consultants to achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and vehicle margins.
    • Inspire your team by fostering a high-performance culture with a strong emphasis on closing deals, managing leads, and maximizing individual sales performance.
  • Customer Experience Excellence
    • Ensure all customers receive an exceptional buying experience from initial contact to post-sale engagement.
    • Oversee showroom presentation and ensure that display and test-drive vehicles are meticulously maintained, creating a premium environment for prospective buyers.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Monitor and evaluate team performance across key areas: new car sales, used car trade-ins, vehicle finance, and insurance packages.
    • Provide comprehensive reports and insights to management on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, addressing sales and product-related feedback promptly and professionally.
    • Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with customers to promote repeat business and referrals.
  • Market & Competitor Intelligence
    • Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
    • Offer recommendations on product features, specifications, and positioning to maintain competitiveness in the Singapore market.
  • Pricing & COE Bidding
    • Disseminate pricing decisions and communicate effectively with your team following each COE bidding exercise.
  • Fleet & Tender Sales
    • Support tender and fleet sales opportunities to grow this critical segment of the business.
  • Product Training & Launch Preparation
    • Conduct thorough product training sessions for the sales team, especially in preparation for new model launches.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
    • Seek opportunities for process improvements within the sales department and contribute to the evolution of sales strategies.
  • Additional Duties
    • Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong ability to motivate and guide a team to success.
