Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Marine Operations Assistant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of our marine services, including the transportation of tools and equipment.

">

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Support the Service Survey Department (SSD) operation, ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of tools and equipment. ">
  • Manage company lorry expenses within budget, maintaining a well-maintained vehicle and arranging for necessary servicing. ">
  • Assist in SSD operations onboard and in workshops, acquiring new skills and knowledge in marine services. ">
  • Report defects or poor conditions of equipment, assisting in resolving onboard malfunctions, rectifying safety systems, repairs, and supply where applicable. ">
  • Properly prepare and execute work assigned, promptly liaising with vessel agencies, and ensuring performance meets expectations at all times. ">
  • Generate service reports, Job Delivery Notes, and other relevant documents. ">
  • Assist our sales department with technical issues. ">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A GCE 'O' or NITEC qualification in a relevant field, with new graduates welcome to apply. ">
  • A Singapore Class 3 license and experience in lorry driving, preferably in a marine background. ">
  • Meticulous and methodical approach to service jobs and reports generation. ">
  • A self-driven attitude to find solutions to problems. ">
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. ">
  • Willingness to learn new skills and knowledge, with no prior experience required. ">
