In this role, you will build Cloud Interconnect, which virtualizes the edge and foundation and allows enterprise customers to connect their on‐premises data centers/networks to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at 100 and 10 Gb/s speed. Interconnect has been one of the key features for GCP to onboard large enterprises and as such is a high impact project. You will also span to connecting smaller customers through partners, as well as building ultra‐low‐latency interconnects in order for customers to be able to use large file stores and databases operated by third‐parties, adjacent to (but not within) Google data centers. You will manage complexity from physical network and routers through cloud virtualization. The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what's possible. Responsibilities Support the launch of Cloud networking infrastructure to enable AI driven workloads to unlock their full potential. Design, develop, and scale cloud networking products and infrastructure to enable the hybrid cloud technical roadmap, ensure their availability, reliability, and performance. Advocate and drive engineering and operational excellence. Create designs for complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on ambitious goals.
