Singapore Cond Nast Technology Lab Full time

As an R2R Manager at Cond Nast, you will report to the Director of Finance Operations and Transformation in Bangalore and be responsible for delivering high-quality Record to Report (R2R) services to the US, UK, and UAE markets. Your main focus will be on maintaining monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Financial statements according to US GAAP, ensuring compliance with global accounting policies, and handling market-specific statutory and tax reporting accurately and efficiently.You will lead a team of 19 Full-Time Employees (FTEs) in Bangalore, overseeing the R2R activities for the mentioned markets. Your key responsibilities will include coordinating with Global Controlling teams, maintaining a comprehensive set of user guides and templates, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial records, managing month-end close activities, preparing manual journals, processing intercompany invoices, maintaining fixed assets and inventory, handling tax-related master data, and providing support for internal and external audits.Furthermore, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, monitoring performance against KPIs, collaborating with Market Controllers on projects, participating in activities to streamline processes, and supporting the overall goals of the Bangalore Controlling Operations team. Your role will also involve team management, setting goals for team members, providing coaching and feedback, and driving engagement and performance within the team.To be successful in this role, you should be a qualified finance professional with senior financial management experience, hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and possess strong leadership skills. You should have a deep understanding of international financial reporting standards and accounting principles, experience in financial controlling across R2R, P2P, and O2C processes, and a track record of process improvement and system implementation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cultural awareness skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a global, matrix management environment.Overall, as the R2R Manager at Cond Nast, you will play a crucial role in leading the performance of high-quality R2R services, ensuring compliance, driving efficiency, and supporting the company's strategic objectives through accurate financial reporting and process improvement.,
