Role Summary Responsibilities: You will be based in our Medical Communications team as a Medical Writer , specialising in the strategic planning and development of scientific publications . Your work will involve the detailed analysis and clear, creative communication of clinical trial data through abstracts, posters, oral presentations and manuscripts for submission to scientific journals and conferences. You will support a range of clients, including the industry's most successful pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, patient and public health bodies and charitable organisations Salary: S$4,500 per month Benefits: Hybrid working options, generous holiday allowance, flexible working hours, private medical insurance, comprehensive travel insurance, full funding for external training and more Role Type: Full‐time, permanent About the Role Medical Writer and Analyst positions are ideal for those with experience in scientific research and for enthusiastic recent graduates in the sciences who are seeking the opportunity to be part of a growing team. You will be based in our Singapore office working in our Asia‐Pacific team, as well as collaborating with colleagues from our UK and US teams. Medical Writers and Analysts work on projects involving the detailed analysis of data from clinical trials and the assimilation and creative presentation of this analysis in different formats including posters, slide sets, value dossiers, reports and peer‐reviewed publications. These deliverables are used directly by our clients in communication with external stakeholders instrumental to the successful uptake of novel therapies. The work is structured on a project‐by‐project basis and you will usually be working on several projects in different disease areas at any one time. You will work in project teams alongside experienced colleagues in both the Singapore, UK and US offices who provide one‐to‐one training in the technical aspects of the role, including project management and effective client communication. Delivering project work requires close collaboration with clients and, following a successful induction period, you will increasingly engage in teleconferences and face‐to‐face meetings with external stakeholders. Requirements We are looking for individuals who are collaborative, self‐motivated and enthusiastic, with a passion for scientific writing and an interest in providing a great service to clients. Positions are available for those looking for an entry‐level role in the field as well as those with some prior experience. A degree level or higher qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum CAP or GPA 4/5 or equivalent). We welcome applications from candidates with a diverse range of specialisms, including but not limited to biology, chemistry, pharmacy and medicine An excellent written and spoken fluency in English in order to deliver high quality scientific materials in English for clients in the Asia‐Pacific region An ability to communicate scientific materials clearly in both written and oral form An excellent understanding of and ability to apply scientific concepts A close attention to detail An aptitude for and experience of scientific writing which could include dissertations, research summaries, lab reports, poster or oral presentations, peer‐reviewed scientific publications, book chapters, grant applications, regulatory documents, and articles for websites or student magazines A competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint An exceptional level of organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage your time and meet deadlines No previous experience in this sector is necessary, but you should display a genuine interest in healthcare and an eagerness to learn about new areas of clinical science. Applicants with higher‐level qualifications in a scientific discipline are welcomed but this is not a requirement. Benefits A starting salary of S$4,500 per month.
