Job Title: Financial Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The Financial Management Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the monthly closing of accounts, preparing timely financial reports, and managing the budget. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly accounting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
  • Prepare and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting strategies to ensure financial stability.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve financial issues and improve financial processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy or related field, with professional certification (e.g. CPA) preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software and systems, including Xero.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Skills:

  • Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Xero accounting software.
  • Financial planning and analysis.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
